Terms of service

Effective date: October 12, 2026
Last updated: October 12, 2026

Welcome to Greenivative. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Greenivative ("Greenivative," "we," "us," or "our") and govern your use of greenivative.com (the "Site") and your purchase of products from us, including Purinade® water filtration systems and replacement parts such as filters, UV bulbs, and quartz sleeves (the "Products"). Please read these Terms carefully, especially Section 4 (Important Product Use and Safety Information), Section 12 (Warranty Disclaimer), and Section 13 (Limitation of Liability).

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By using the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy, which are part of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or buy our Products.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state, and able to form a binding contract to place an order. The Site and our Products are intended for customers in the United States, and we ship only to U.S. addresses. You agree to give us accurate, current, and complete information, and you are responsible for keeping your account login secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Products and Descriptions

We try to describe and display our Products as accurately as possible, including specifications, flow rates, dimensions, compatibility, and images. However, colors and images may vary depending on your screen, and Product packaging and specifications may change. We do not guarantee that every description is complete, current, or error-free. Before you buy, please confirm that a Product, filter, UV bulb, or quartz sleeve is compatible with your system and your plumbing. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering. We may limit quantities, discontinue Products, or decline to sell to anyone at our discretion.

4. Important Product Use and Safety Information

Please read this section carefully. It explains what Purinade systems are designed to do and what they are not designed to do.

4.1 What Purinade is

Purinade is a water filtration system. Purinade systems are designed to filter water at the point of use, for example in emergencies, off-grid settings, and field use. Depending on the model, a system uses sediment, carbon, and other filter media and may include an ultraviolet (UV) stage. Some models have no UV stage. Performance depends on many factors, including source water quality, pre-filtering, flow rate, power supply, correct setup, and proper maintenance.

4.2 What Purinade is not

  • No purification, sterilization, or pathogen claims. We do not claim that Purinade purifies or sterilizes water, or that it kills, removes, or inactivates bacteria, viruses, cysts, or other pathogens or microorganisms. Nothing on our Site, Product packaging, marketing, or customer communications should be read as making those claims.
  • Not certified or registered. The Purinade system is not certified to any NSF/ANSI standard as a complete system. Individual components may carry their own manufacturer ratings or certifications. Any such rating applies only to that component, under the conditions stated by its manufacturer, and does not mean the system as a whole is certified. Purinade systems are not registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and we make no specific microbial reduction claims.
  • Independent testing. Independent third-party laboratory testing of the system is planned but has not been completed as of the effective date of these Terms. Until results are published, we make no representations about the system's performance against any specific contaminant. Any results we later publish will apply only to the conditions and contaminants tested.
  • Not a substitute for official advisories. Purinade is not a substitute for boil-water notices, do-not-drink advisories, or any other instructions from public health authorities or your water utility. Always follow those instructions, even if you have a Purinade system installed.
  • Not medical treatment. Purinade is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or health condition, and it is not a medical device. If you have health concerns related to your water, talk to a medical professional and your local health department.
  • Unknown or unsafe water. Do not use Purinade with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality unless that water is also adequately disinfected by a method approved for that purpose. We recommend having your water tested by a state-certified laboratory before installation and periodically afterward, especially if you use a private well.

4.3 Your responsibilities

To use Purinade safely and get the intended performance, you agree to:

  • Follow the owner's manual and all labels, warnings, and instructions for installation, operation, and maintenance;
  • Set up, power, and operate the system only as described in the manual, using the specified power sources, and follow all applicable plumbing and electrical codes for any permanent installation, using a qualified professional where required;
  • Replace filters, UV bulbs, and quartz sleeves on the schedule stated in the manual, or sooner if your water conditions require it, and use only compatible replacement parts;
  • Pay attention to the UV alarm or indicator on models that have a UV stage. If the UV alarm sounds or the indicator shows a lamp failure, power interruption, or other fault, stop using the water for drinking or cooking until the problem is corrected and the system has been checked as described in the manual;
  • Never look directly at a lit UV lamp or operate the lamp outside its housing, because UV light can injure eyes and skin;
  • Disconnect power before servicing, and handle quartz sleeves and UV bulbs carefully. UV bulbs may contain small amounts of mercury and must be disposed of according to local regulations; and
  • Monitor your system and water, and stop using the system and contact us if you notice leaks, unusual taste, odor, or color, or any malfunction.

Failure to follow the manual, replace parts on schedule, or respond to the UV alarm may reduce performance, create safety risks, and void any applicable warranty.

5. Pricing and Errors

All prices are in U.S. dollars and may change at any time without notice. Prices do not include shipping charges or applicable sales tax, which are shown at checkout. Despite our efforts, the Site may occasionally contain errors in pricing, descriptions, availability, or promotions. We reserve the right to correct any error and to cancel or refuse any order affected by an error, even after you have placed the order or received an order confirmation. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund the amount you paid.

6. Orders and Payment

Your order is an offer to buy. An order confirmation email confirms that we received your order; it does not mean we have accepted it. We accept your order when we ship it. We may refuse, limit, or cancel any order, including orders that appear to be placed by resellers or that we suspect are fraudulent, and we will refund any payment for a canceled order. You agree to pay all charges for your order, including shipping and taxes, using a valid payment method. Payments are processed by Shopify and third-party payment processors, and you authorize us and them to charge your payment method for your order. Promotional codes and discounts are subject to their stated terms, have no cash value, and may be changed or ended at any time.

7. Shipping and Risk of Loss

We ship only within the United States. Shipping options, costs, and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. If we cannot ship within the time we stated, or within 30 days if no time was stated, we will notify you and give you the option to cancel for a full refund, consistent with the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule. Title to Products and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers the Products to the shipping address you provided. Please inspect your order promptly and notify us as soon as possible (we ask within 7 days of delivery), with your order number and photos, if anything arrives damaged, defective, or missing, so we can help resolve the issue with you and the carrier.

8. Returns and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms. Please review it before you buy. For health and safety reasons, some items, such as opened or used filters, UV bulbs, and quartz sleeves, may not be eligible for return except as stated in the Refund Policy or required by law.

9. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, photos, videos, manuals, and software, are owned by Greenivative or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Purinade® and related names and logos are trademarks of their respective owner. You may view and print content from the Site for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission.

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site or Products for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any law;
  • Provide false, misleading, or someone else's information, or impersonate any person;
  • Place fraudulent orders or use a payment method without authorization;
  • Resell Products while misrepresenting them, their certifications, or their performance, including making purification, sterilization, or pathogen-related claims;
  • Upload or send viruses, malware, or other harmful code, or interfere with the security or operation of the Site;
  • Scrape, crawl, or use bots or automated tools to access or collect data from the Site without our permission;
  • Harass, abuse, defame, or harm others, or post unlawful, infringing, or objectionable content; or
  • Infringe our intellectual property rights or the rights of others.

We may suspend or end your access to the Site and cancel orders if you violate these Terms.

11. Reviews, Feedback, and Submissions

If you post a review or send us comments, ideas, photos, or other content, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, and publish it in connection with our business, and you confirm that the content is truthful, is your own, and does not violate anyone's rights. We may, but are not required to, monitor, edit, or remove submissions. We will not alter reviews in a way that changes their meaning, and we do not suppress honest negative reviews.

12. Warranty Disclaimer

Some Products may come with a written limited warranty from the manufacturer. Any such warranty is provided only under its own written terms, which are included with the Product or available from us on request. Your rights under any written warranty are not limited by these Terms.

Except for any written warranty provided with a Product, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and Products are provided "as is" and "as available," and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Where the law does not allow implied warranties to be disclaimed, they are limited to the shortest period permitted by law or to the duration of the applicable written warranty. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any Product will achieve any particular water quality result. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you, and you may have other rights that vary by state.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Greenivative and its owners, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or property damage arising from improper installation, failure to follow the manual, failure to replace parts on schedule, or failure to respond to the UV alarm, arising out of or related to the Site, the Products, or these Terms, even if we were told such damages were possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Site, the Products, or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Product that gave rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Greenivative and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any third-party claims, losses, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site or Products, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

15. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may include links to third-party websites, tools, or services, such as payment processors, shipping carriers, or social media platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

16. Informal Dispute Resolution

Most concerns can be resolved quickly by contacting us. Before filing any lawsuit, you and we each agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally. To start, send a written notice to a.riggs@infratech.us or to our mailing address below that includes your name, contact information, order number (if any), a description of the dispute, and the resolution you are seeking. We will do the same if we have a dispute with you. Both sides agree to work in good faith for at least 30 days after the notice is received to resolve the dispute. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either side may pursue the dispute in court as described in Section 17. This section does not prevent either side from bringing an individual claim in small claims court or seeking emergency relief from a court.

17. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them, the Site, or the Products are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and by applicable federal law. Subject to Section 16, any lawsuit must be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Brevard County, Florida, or in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section takes away any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your state of residence that cannot be waived by contract.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

19. Changes to the Site and These Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Changes apply only to use of the Site and orders placed after the updated Terms are posted. Orders placed before the change are governed by the Terms in effect when the order was placed. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

20. General

These Terms, together with the policies referenced in them, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and Products and replace any prior versions. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Section headings are for convenience only. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including Sections 4 and 9 through 18, will survive.
