Purinade® emergency water filtration system. A portable filtration system for emergencies, off-grid living, camping and field operations. It is easy to set up, and almost anyone can learn to run it in under a minute.
Runs on dual power: 12V DC or 120V AC. Includes the electropositive (NanoCeram) filtration stage.
Five-barrier design
- Stage 1 – Stainless steel intake screen: screens out larger debris before the filters.
- Stage 2 – 1-micron spun-blown sediment filter: captures finer sediment and particulates.
- Stage 3 – 0.5-micron carbon block filter: reduces chlorine taste and odor.
- Stage 4 – NanoCeram electropositive filter media: fine particulate filtration.
- Stage 5 – 12W UV stage: stainless-steel UV chamber rated at 1 GPM.
UV alarm fail-safe
No power, no flow. If there is power but the UV lamp is not working, a built-in audible and visual alarm sounds.

What does the electropositive stage do?
It is one of the five barriers. Its NanoCeram® media has positively charged nano-alumina fibers that attract and hold fine, negatively charged particles, in addition to mechanical filtration (0.2-micron supplier rating). Sediment and carbon stages upstream protect it from heavy loading. Learn more about the electropositive cartridge.
Certification
The complete Purinade system is not third-party certified. NanoCeram® media holds a material-safety certification from IAPMO R&T (supplier documentation available on request).
